From the 16 oz. can. Sampled on June 25, 2019.
Deep dark brown pour with a long lingering tan head and tan lacing.
Subtle aroma of dark roasted and chocolate malts. Not much in the way of the Bourbon barrel aging. Just a touch.
Medium to full body and very smooth.
The chocolate malt sweetness is forward in the flavor with the Bourbon stepping up its presence as it warms.

On tap at the brewery.
A hoppier porter to be sure. Some notes of chocolate and coconut, as well as citrusy hops. Slightly roasted. Lots of chocolate on the aroma. Body was a bit lighter than preferred with lower carbonation.
Solid beer overall.
