Canned on 3/30/21
Opened and reviewed on: 4/16/21
Thick and muddy haze within the bright gold and straw color. Normally thick white foam cover holds on tight, with plenty of cover and lots of lace.
The hop dominated aromatics are tight! Boozy peaches, sugar coated golden grains, red grapes, creamy citrus and fresh lupulin powder. Bold and aromatic.
A thick, and smooth texture is impressive upon the first sip. It basically feels like it looks.
A sharp and tangy peach and citrus hop blast of flavor right off, creamy and sweet malted golden grains of summer keep the hops from having all of the fun. Boozy and earthy bitter hop bite has a fresh acorn meat and peppery mango coming complexity that is substantial.
Saco River tends to make very crisp and fresh brews, but this is the most impressive offering I've had from them so far.

A: Pours a hazy yellow color with 2 fingers of head that fades down to a thin cap
S: Tropical and citrusy hops up front along with some lighter berry notes
T: Follows the nose. Starts off with a mix of the tropical and citrusy hop notes and then picks up some faint berry and grassy notes. Finishes with lingering citrus
M: Medium-full bodied with moderate carbonation
O: A very good NEDIPA that is sneakily drinkable. Super smooth and goes down way too easy for 8.4%. Definitely worth checking out

Poured into a 13 oz Teku glass canned on 5/12/20. Pours a very hazy and attractive yellow with a solid finger sticky white head that leaves a bunch of webby lace as it slowly settles. 4.75
Smell is guava, blueberry, tangerine, pineapple, and apricot really nice! 4.5
Taste guava, blueberry, tangerine, pineapple, apricot, and some white grapefruit in the bold but balanced finish. 4.5
Mouthfeel is rather big, soft gentle carbonation, a tad sticky not dry, and at 8.4% really drinkable, but sneaks up on you. 4.75
Overall this is another excellent NEDIPA from Saco. This place is blowing me away. Two weeks ago I knew nothing about them and now I keep looking for the next release. Excellent stuff. 4.5
