Pours a pretty, transparent light copper color. Moderate foam turns to light lacing pretty quickly. Smell is grain with a little caramel and grassy hop. Flavor starts with sweet malt, a little toast and caramel. Grassy and floral hops join in the middle and carry through to the aftertaste. Mouthfeel is smooth, with more carbonation than the light lacing suggests balancing the malt. Honestly, this strikes me more as a Festbier than a Märzen. Very tasty, but not the malty, biscuity exemplar of the style.

Beautiful deep copper colored beer, crystal clear with dense, slow-rising carbonation; thick, long-lasting head, white with a rounded, creamy textured cap. Warm, bread crust-like aroma; hints of caramel. Rich and flavorful taste; toasted grains and honey; mild caramel; roasted nuts; deftly balanced hint of hop bitterness. Medium bodied; soft and rounded on the palate; nice residual sugar fullness; sticky; finishes with a subdued dry edge.
I have to love a no-nonsense, straightforward and well-crafted classic seasonal lager. Bierstadt has done an excellent job with this beer. Depth, complexity, balance are all present and make for a fine drinking experience.
ABV: 5.6%; pouring temperature: 49.9 °F; canning info: STOP THE CREEP 09.02.25

Pours a crystal clear dark amber, small head and streaky lacing. Nose is caramel and dark fruit, raisin; grassy hop as it warms slightly, along with some barley; reminiscent of Ayinger. Taste is pretty low key - not a malt bomb, but grassy and spicy, mild caramel aftertaste. Expected more sweetness, but super clean and crisp.

16 fl oz can from a beer store in Northeast Colorado, U.S.A.
Canned 09/28/23 (~2 weeks ago).
5.6% ABV.
Treacle, golden malty breadiness, light toasted malt character, honeyed malt. Well attenuated, with enough rich maltiness to give it body and depth of flavour but not so much it presents as cloying.
Scintillae of floral flavour, caramel, and even spiciness (from hops, I imagine).
Pleasantly coating on the palate.
A rather drinkable brew, though I don't know that I'd want to quaff more than a litre or two at a festival. It's a refreshing change of pace from the overly bready/heavy festbiere dominating the U.S. market, but I don't know that it outclasses the best German brewed expressions of the style.

Beautifully shimmering dark amber to acorn with an off-white foam head.
Silky smooth and round with a firm froth that delivers a beautiful maltiness coming shy of toasty but beyond leafy or nutty, making it hard to put my finger on, but all accented by the mildest floral yet chestnutty tang.
After half a session I find myself enjoying the infinitely satisfying feel and expression more than I did at jump, even as caramel and dark fruit notes bloom a bit in the bright ass sun of Denver, which my gray skies Ohio ass isn't used to.

Dumb good. So damn delicious. Amid the flood of fest and pumpkin bier.. this noble gem steps out.
Has an open fermented or cool shippy thing ?? Gorgeous mahogany bronze, tan, abundant, persistent head leaving lavish gowns of lace. Crispy butterscotch. Zippy, nimble bubble. Mineraly, biscuity, deep sourdough, turning warm rye. Insanely elegant floral flower elegant finish and lingering faint rose or like lilac.
This beer is fucking awesome lol. My fav festbier among the ~10 i’ve sampled

16oz can from Steve. Copper colored pour, thick creamy white head settles down to a thin silky white head. Toasty malts, brown bread, sweet. Creamy feel, full taste.

This one pours a light golden orange/brown, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like bittersweet caramel, spiced breadiness, toasted malt, lightly herbal hop character, and some light chocolate.
This has such a wonderfully rich but crisp malt character to it – toasty, bready, just the lightest hint of sweetness, and a hint of spicy hop character.
This is light bodied, super drinkable and crisp, with a clean smooth and slightly creamy finish.
I was really, really excited to try this one – of course they completely smashed this one out of the park.

16oz canned 9-14-21. Opened 2-6-22.
2 finger off-white/sand colored head. Dense, fine bead with amazing retention. Thin lace. Glowing amber with brilliant clarity and a plethora of active carbonation. Toasted grain and a pleasant minerality. Caramel, toast, an ode to malt. Medium body, soft carbonation, and a clean mouthfeel - feels right. Medium length finish with a nice malt sweetness. Very Good.
