Saison Spritz - Blueberries & Cabernet Grapes

Pours a deep ruby-burgundy with two fingers of pink foam. Transparency is obscured via fog. Aroma is blueberries and white wine grapes. It's quick, dry, and tart, just expansive enough to carry a little stone too. Flavor profile is blueberries, white wine grapes, stone, earth, and biscuits. It's quick, accentuated by dryness throughout. The initial blueberries give it a sweet opening note, before it shifts into a tart, acidic finish. Mouth feel is thin, with a sharp, crisp, and snappy texture. Overall, "spritz" is an apt name for this series, or at least this beer, as it drinks spry, crisp, and sharp, hitting its notes before a quick decay.
