From the growler via Jungle Jim's Eastgate in a snifter. This mighty fine ale pours a
rich dark blackish brown with a nice head of light tan foam that settles to a thick ring,
subtle thin layer, and shows some light lacing. Nose of mint, chocolate, and subtle
char notes with deeply roasted malts. Flavors hit the aspects of a York Peppermint
Patty perfectly with rich chocolate and zesty yet balanced mint notes mingling with
light char and deeply roasted malts with a hint of cream. Nice mouth feel; full body,
low carbonation, and a rich finish. Overall a solid double stout for the desert stout
lovers around you.
Cheers
