Purchased at Chas Cole Cellarbrations in Geelong in May 2025 and drunk in August that year.
L: Hazy dark copper with a big, foamy head. No carbonation seen in the glass.
S: Rich toffee, rye-like spices, some mild sweet notes.
T: Medium to high citric bitterness, toffee, citrus. Finishes sweet, thin and a little watery. The thin finish drops the marks here as the beer is quite good at the start of the swallow, but the thinness washes much of the taste and detracts from the experience.
M: The body is thin, carbonation is high. This is a light beer, so it's not unexpected, but most light and mid-strength beers are thicker-bodied these days for a reason.
O: This one is a miss for me. While it's great to see a below-mid strength craft option, the thinness and watery finish of this one means most of the macro light beer offerings would be a better, and more economical, choice.
Cheers!

From bottle, pours a Amber cola colour with a good white foamy coloured head.
Aroma toast, malty, floral, smells good for a low alcohol beverage.
Taste follows the nose, not to bad for a low ABV.
