The Leprechaun's Lab

I visited Leprechaun's Lab a few weeks ago while bumming around Wichita. It's a small place, though very welcoming, with a long bar and a handful of tables around. It is in an older building and feels very lived-in; there was another brewery here before Leprechaun's Lab moved in. Service was very friendly and knowledgable up at the bar.

There were 8 beers on tap when I visited: a Kentucky common, milk stout, chocolate hazelnut porter, IPA, Scottish export, bitter, Irish red, and the pièce de résistance, a Lucky Charms beer. The milk stout was pretty good, and while the Kentucky common didn't entirely tickle my fancy, I was super happy to see someone making this rare style. The Lucky Charms beer ... well, let's just say it's a heck of a thing.

 

Nice smaller place, pretty crowded with live music and catered food on a Saturday night. 8 beers on tap ranging from meh to pretty good. Good service, average prices.

Fairly new brewery in Wichita. Located near the "old town" area. Eight of their beers on tap. Had the time to enjoy two of them, both were enjoyable. Crowd picked up around 4:30 p.m. Excellent service and they do have beer to go. Will visit again.
