A great start to my Oktoberfest/Marzen/Festbier drinking season...
Recently visited Walking Tree and I was impressed, and much like the location, their entry into Oktoberfest beers, named similarly, is a good entrant. Great looking beer with a dark copper hue, a smell that's true to style and a mouthfeel that medium-bodied, rounds out a good tasting beer. The taste is decent enough, slightly more metallic than I appreciate, but even so, it's a decent offering. I will likely try to go back and try one out right at the source.

The pour is copper colored with a fair amount of carbonation. The taste is brown bread crust, caramel, along with a faint citrus note near the finish. Cheers! B

16 oz can from near the brewery. A canning date of 10 August 2022 is stamped on the bottom of the can.
Appearance. Proper for the style with a clear copper colored body and an off-white head.
The flavor leans towards the hoppy side of the style although there's a near typical level of caramel malts. Mild aroma.
