I was hoping for something good when I both this little four-pack at their taphouse, and I was rewarded for that...
Looked really good - classic reddish black brew with a nice, foamy brown head. The smell was probably the least best aspect of the beer - I could sorta sense the plum, but that was about it. Mouthfeel was light-bodied and lightly carbonated which allowed for the flavor of the beer to be enjoyed. The flavor was a decent blend of plums, raisins, and booze - with the fruit flavors overpowered by the 10.5% ABV. I enjoyed this, and I'll be enjoying the remaining three I have on hand.

On tap at the brewery's taproom in Vero Beach, Florida.
I had this pour along side the same barleywine from a nitro tap. While the head is clearly thicker and more durable on the nitro pour, the regular tap had an exceptionally durable head, especially for a barleywine. This version also has a remarkably smooth and softly carbonated body.
