Had on tap at BSF Darien 3 times now. Good example of a porter. Roasty malty nose, a hit of chocolate and malt at the start. Chunky mouthfeel that quickly recedes and then is refreshing. Could be a dangerous session beer. Have had 3 times at BSF, first two were on the same keg, 3rd was a different batch a few weeks later - clearly a small batch brewer as they tasted slightly different - last pint was a little sweeter than before.
Good porter, hopefully indicative of their other brews, and hopefully they'll start distributing a little more broadly.
