Piedmont Porter was contract brewed at Minnesota Brewing Company for the Tunners Guild Brewing Systems. Piedmont Porter is part of the Beers of America. Historical Collection. These beers are designed to pay homage to the United States brewing legacy.
Deep dark red, opaque, poorly developed tan head, no retention, no lace. Mildly potent nose, rich coffee, roasted malt, faint sweetness. Tasty, rich roasted malt, coffee, vague bitterness mingles with equally vague sweetness a good mixture of flavors for your palate to enjoy. Medium bodied, pretty sturdy actually, somewhat creamy mouthfeel. No overly complex. This is a very good Porter, highly satisfying.
