Pale golden color, small foamy head.. Malty, bready, slightly flowery aroma. Salty, malty flavor with cooked oatmeal and clove. Medium bodied. Average christmas/festbier.

500ml bottle poured into a Paulaner Seidel.
A - Pale straw gold, 3 finger creamy head, and has moderate retention but eventually weakens to a crown.
S- Faint munich malts, breads and biscuit.
T- Very clean, malty backbone a bit more than a helles, not quite as sweet as an oktoberfest. No hoppiness. Average, clean and fresh but not overly flavoursome.
M- Clean light and crisp.
D- A nice clean marzen, not overly flavoursome but solid and fresh tasting, which made it enjoyable.

Had a bottle of this in Pitter Keller, Salzburg, November 26th 06. It came as a 0.5 litre swing top brown bottle. It had a very nice label, that showed the village view that is shown on many Wieninger brews, only this time a snow covered scene.
It poured a clear straw coloured brew with a thin head resembling a Euro lager. Lacing on the glass. Not too much flavour going on.
Overall, I was a bit disappointed with this seasonal. Rightly or wrongly, I expected something a little more spicy or zesty. I preferred the Wieninger Dunkles Lagerbier. It didn't live up to the label (for me). Shown as 5.7% ABV on the brewery website, bottle labelled as 5.8%

BB 29-03-06. Nice head and a beautifull and very pale golden beercollor that shows no haze. Nose is good giving good spicy hops with nice maltbacking als some alcohol to complete a fine nose. Taste is fine also having a full sunny sweetsummer maltyness followed by some alcohol and finsishing with well dosed moderate bitterness. Yes this is a pleasure to drink with silk mouthfeel and just so much freshness.
