Blind-tasted excl the brewer, beer name and ABV%
L- Very pale gold, slightly hazy, 3cm near white foam cap plus fast rising CO2.
S- Very mild for me, I just get some grain.
T- Pretty mild taste too with no distinctive aspects of a style, hmmm! It seems a little sweet, I hope it's not an adjunct; tho that seems unlikely for Festbier, which is a rather sacred, prescribed Bavarian style. I should also note it has some trad hops going into the finish.
F- It doesn't seem to have much to it for 5.8%; I wouldn't have guessed this was above 5%. Co2 in the mouth is ok.
O- That was surprisingly underwhelming. The beer just lacks things of interest, plus what struck me as an adjuncty note. There are so many beers waaay better than this, I wouldn't spend money and time on this again.
Rated/reviewed, now to check the bottle for clues: BB 28/7/25, organic, brewed in accordance with the Reinheitsgebot, ie it's no adjunct!

500ml bottle, Bb in 11.5 months, so presumably very fresh.

Very clear golden colour. Bright white persistent foam leaving moderate lace.

Nose has plenty of honeyed bread, noble German hops and a bit of tartness.

Taste is quite dry with pleasant hop bitterness, but there is sufficient sweetish body to counterbalance. Aftertaste is just slightly tart bitterish grain. Meaning very good and fits the style.

Delightfully hoppy and quenching.
