They call it a "maifestbier." Does that make this a maibock? An Oktoberfest?
500ml swingtop bottle purchased at Getranke Oase in Munich.
A: 5cm white cap with a clear yellow body of average vibrance.
Sm: Bends a bit syrupy in its overdone malt sweetness. Homebrew-redolent malt extract, straw, Munich malts.
Aromatic intensity is average.
T & Mf: Too thick. Syrupy. Smooth, wet, heavy.
Malt extract dominates, coming off artificial and off-putting. Munich malts.
It's unbalanced and badly built, regardless of the intended style. I don't care for it much.
Overcarbonated.
O: Not very drinkable given its subpar quality. I'll finish the bottle only with some effort, but it's far from my favourite. Not a very likable beer from Wieninger.
D (2.11) / NOT RECOMMENDED

I'll be honest I am not quite sure if this actually a Maibock it is a little lighter in flavor than a usual Maibock but still a good beer all the same. It has little more hop finsh than most beers of this style. The color is consistant as well. Brass color with plenty of head and lace. The aroma is a little pasture like. The flavor is mildly complex.
