I had this beer on-tap in a nonic at the brewery. It's billed as a "special bitter".
Appearance: good gold-brown hue with a little bit of haze and a very thin layer of ivory foam. I don't like the lack of head, but the color is great.
Smell: malty, bready and caramelly malt. Might could use a dash more hops, but overall pretty good.
Taste: bready, toasty, biscuity malt with a light dose of bitterness. Not bad.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a moderate carbonation and inexplicably nice creaminess.
Overall: a great example of an English bitter made here in the US. Highly sessionable.
