My first beer ever at this new brewery that opened recently. Served on-tap in a standard pint glass, this beer draws a slightly cloudy/hazy copper color with a nice, fluffy, foamy white head that's about an inch thick when first served to me. Head eventually settles to a medium to thick foam ring lining the inside of the glass along with l some nice big cluster swirls of film layers of foam on the surface. Not much lacing. Aromas of some bready, biscuity malt notes along with a big citrus hop flavor. Has a bready, lightly sweet malt flavor upfront that gauges way to a big pungent, resinous, citrus hop bitterness with slight hints of peach and melon. The citrus is so prevalent and astringent here that it adds a bit of a sour element. So, this has more of a sour hop flavor than a bitter hop flavor. And I am enjoying this a lot! As a somewhat crisp, slightly prickly, yet also smooth and slightly creamy, medium bodies mouthfeel with moderate carbonation. A really fantastic take in this style of beer! Well done!
