huell melon and amarillo ipa, less hazy than some of the others in here, but not all the way clear either, real pale yellow golden in the glass with a light shine and a wonderfully fresh and fruity aroma of white wine, peaches, and red apple, its such a unique smell, different than i normally associate with amarillo, but super appealing. kiwi fruit, fresh peach, green grape, honeydew, and pineapple in the flavor, just a little finishing bitterness, really clean for being a little hazed too. relaxed body, not a ton of grain character here, maybe some crackery pils malt, not as starchy and full as some, but with a smooth round feel, better carbonation than most of theirs as well. the hop profile has a light candied thing going on but it isnt sweet, a fruity blend of flavors come in waves, and there is a definite vinous character about it. cleaner than their others to drink on, more sessionable to me, just a really nice use of these hops in a dry hopped context, a cool combination. one of the better beers we had at the brewery!
