Semi-clear strawberry jam red with lighter peach hues at the edges, a short soft white head settles to a stretch mark film.
Smooth and lightly sour blackberry and raspberry combine into a rhubarb pie sort of flavor. A pleasant red wine barrel exhale brings a touch of char and tannin, and even notes of balaton cherry. As it warms, a light and soft but sticky and seedy jammy funk emerges.
For a barrel aged sour, I can't get over how smooth it is. The medium, round body has a light, soft carbonation finishing semi-dry and slightly sticky.
