16 FL OZ can
Served in a stemless wine glass

This beer pours a brilliant golden color. It is topped with an inch of off white head that leaves no lacing.

The first thing I smell is vanilla and tart lemon. Upon further investigation I get some lime.

The lime really comes through in the taste along with the vanilla. It is a sour lime flavor.

Medium bodied with a creamy mouthfeel

This is a pleasant beer to consume. I enjoy the interplay of the sour lime and vanilla flavors. It is a refreshing beer.

16 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 1/21/2019. Pours moderately hazy/cloudy medium golden yellow color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head white great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big juicy/tart/sour lemon, lime, orange, red grapefruit, citrus peel/zest, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, coconut, mango, honeydew melon, guava, blueberry, vanilla, cream, wheat, cracker, and white bread dough; with lighter notes of turmeric, pepper, pine, hay, straw, herbal, floral, grass, lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical hops, fruity/acidic yeast, citrus zest, vanilla, lactose, coconut, turmeric, and pale/wheat malt notes; with big strength. Taste of huge juicy/tart/sour lemon, lime, orange, red grapefruit, citrus peel/zest, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, coconut, mango, honeydew melon, guava, blueberry, vanilla, cream, wheat, cracker, and white bread dough; with lighter notes of turmeric, pepper, pine, hay, straw, herbal, floral, grass, lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Light fruity/lactic tartness; herbal, floral, grassy bitterness; and turmeric spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of tart/tangy lemon, lime, orange, red grapefruit, citrus peel/zest, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, coconut, mango, honeydew melon, guava, blueberry, vanilla, cream, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, light pepper/pine, hay, straw, herbal, floral, grass, lacto funk, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a while. Fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical hops, fruity/acidic yeast, citrus zest, vanilla, lactose, coconut, turmeric, and pale/wheat malt flavors; with a fantastic malt/bitter/tartness and tangy fruit balance; with zero puckering/astringent flavors after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering tartness, fruit tang, and bitter/spiciness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/silky/grainy, and fairly crisp/acidic/tangy/sticky mouthfeel that is fantastic. Zero warming alcohol for 7.6%. Overall this is an fantastic sour DIPA. All around fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical hops, fruity/acidic yeast, citrus zest, vanilla, coconut, turmeric, and pale/wheat malt flavors; very smooth and fairly crisp/refreshing to drink with the mellowly acidic/tangy/drying finish; fantastic soft feel and not overly lactic. Amazing Mosaic profile. Super juicy/vibrant hops/citrus/coconut, and lacto complexity; with a great vanilla, lactose, and pale/wheat malt backbone. Slight dank/earthy notes. Mild residual sweetness with lingering crisp acidic/tangy fruit dryness. A highly enjoyable offering, and amazing style example.
