16 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 8/20/2018. Pours very hazy deep ruby red/pink/purple color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy pink head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice thick foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big juicy/tart/tangy plums, fruit skin/pits, lemon, lime, orange, peach, pear, apricot, red/green apple, red grape/wine, coriander, salt, hay, straw, grass, wheat, biscuit dough, light pepper/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of plums, fruity/acidic yeast, coriander, sea salt, and pale/wheat malt notes; with big strength. Taste of huge juicy/tart/tangy plums, fruit skin/pits, lemon, lime, orange, peach, pear, apricot, red/green apple, red grape/wine, coriander, salt, hay, straw, grass, wheat, biscuit dough, light pepper/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Light fruity/lactic tartness, fruit tang, and spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of juicy/tart/tangy plums, fruit skin/pits, lemon, lime, orange, peach, pear, apricot, red/green apple, red grape/wine, coriander, sea salt, hay, straw, grass, wheat, biscuit dough, light pepper/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a while. Incredible complexity, robustness, and balance of plums, fruity/acidic yeast, coriander, salt, and pale/wheat malt flavors; with a nice malt/tartness, and tangy fruit balance; with no cloying/puckering flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering tartness and tangy fruit. Medium-plus carbonation and body; with a very smooth, creamy/silky/bready, fairly acidic/tangy, and lightly saline mouthfeel that is fantastic. Zero warming alcohol for 5.6%. Overall this is an incredible double fruited gose. All around fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of plums, fruity/acidic yeast, coriander, salt, and pale/wheat malt flavors; very smooth and refreshing to drink with the mellowly acidic/tangy/drying finish. Mildly lactic, and not overly salty. Enormous amounts of juicy/jammy plums, balanced Lacto complexity, and wheat/malts against acidity. Lightly sweet with lingering tart/tangy dryness. A highly enjoyable offering, and spot on style example. Sweeter than expected, but has tons of fruit to balance it out.
