16 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 5/20/2019. Pours very hazy medium golden yellow color with a 2 finger dense, creamy, and rocky white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Thick soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big lightly tart/tangy lemon, lime, orange juice, citrus peel/zest, red grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, guava, berries, red/green apple, white grape/wine, hay, straw, herbal, floral, grass, vanilla, cream, wheat, graham cracker, and toasted bread; with lighter notes of peppercorn, pine, lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical hops, fruity/acidic yeast, citrus zest, vanilla, lactose, and pale/wheat malt notes; with big strength. Taste of big lightly tart/tangy lemon, lime, orange juice, citrus peel/zest, red grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, guava, berries, red/green apple, white grape/wine, hay, straw, herbal, floral, grass, vanilla, cream, wheat, graham cracker, and toasted bread; with lighter notes of peppercorn, pine, lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Mild fruity/lactic tartness, fruit tang; and pine, zesty, herbal, floral, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tart/tangy lemon, lime, orange juice, citrus peel/zest, red grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, guava, berries, red/green apple, white grape/wine, hay, straw, herbal, floral, grass, vanilla, cream, wheat, graham cracker, toasted bread, light pepper/pine/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a while. Amazing complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical hops, fruity/acidic yeast, citrus zest, vanilla, lactose, and pale/wheat malt flavors; with a great malt/tart/bitterness balance, and no cloying/puckering/astringent flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitter/tartness, and tangy fruit. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, creamy/silky/bready/grainy, and lightly acidic/tangy/sticky mouthfeel that is fantastic. Minimal warming alcohol for 8%. Overall this is an amazing sour milkshake DIPA! All around incredible complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical hops, fruity/acidic yeast, citrus zest, vanilla, lactose, and pale/wheat malt flavors; very smooth and dangerously easy to drink for the ABV, with the mildly bitter/tart/tangy/drying finish; amazingly soft feel, mildly lactic. Amazing Nelson Sauvin, Citra, Galaxy profile. Balanced juicy, vibrant and lightly dank hops, citrus zests, and lacto complexity; with a perfectly balanced lactose, vanilla, wheat/malt backbone. Lightly sweet with lingering dryness. A highly enjoyable offering, and top tier style example.

Foggy burnt yellow with a persistent fuzzy white collar after the short blanket dies off.
A unique tart apricot lime character pairs with hints of graham cracker pie crust and lemon meringue in the medium body as the roundly firm carbonation finishes with a semi-dry tingle.
I get Key lime pie more than Mai Tai, but who's keeping score, they're both delish!
