Poured into a tulip glass. A murky plum color with a small light purple head. Bright boysenberry aroma along with mixed berries and faint vanilla. Taste was equally bright. Moderately tart and offset with subtle vanilla, lactose, and faint citrus hop presence. Feel was medium and smooth with some extra heft from the lactose, but not sweet. Outstanding.

This one pours a dark purplish color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells incredibly fruity and berry forward, with some vanilla and acidity on the nose too.
This is simple, but a good expression of boysenberry for sure, with a big but soft jamminess, and a light acidity that just rolls off the tongue. There's a subtle vanilla and lactose creaminess, but it's not a significant flavor contributor. The hop character from the Mosaic and Citra seems lost.
This is light bodied, creamy, and very drinkable. It's got that nice lactose-derived creaminess without being completely smoothie-esque.
This is definitely a well-made beer. It's not quite Hudson Valley-level, but it's a nice beer to try.

Pours a deep purple with a one inch lavender head that recedes slowly to a cap, minimal lacing. Smells of tart mixed berries with a bit of sourness and malt. Tastes of tart blackberries, raspberries, blueberries, lime, sweet malt and a hint of lactose. Medium bodied and carbonated, mildly dry and tart mouthfeel.

16 ounce can into tulip glass, canned in 9/2019. Pours opaque dark ruby red/purple color with a 2 finger fairly dense and fluffy pink head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Nice dense foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big juicy/tart/tangy blackberry, raspberry, fruit skin/seed, lemon, lime, orange, red grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, red/green apple, red grape/wine, citrus peel/zest, light peppercorn/pine, hay, straw, herbal, floral, grass, vanilla, cream, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, light lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of boysenberries, fruity/acidic yeast, citrus/fruity/tropical hops, lactose, vanilla, and pale/wheat malt notes; with big strength. Taste of huge juicy/tart/tangy blackberry, raspberry, fruit skin/seed, lemon, lime, orange, red grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, red/green apple, red grape/wine, citrus peel/zest, light peppercorn/pine, hay, straw, herbal, floral, grass, vanilla, cream, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, light lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate fruity/lactic tang/tartness; and light pine, herbal, floral, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tart/tangy blackberry, raspberry, fruit skin/seed, lemon, lime, orange, red grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, red/green apple, red grape/wine, citrus peel/zest, light peppercorn/pine, hay, straw, herbal, floral, grass, vanilla, cream, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, light lacto funk, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a while. Amazing complexity, robustness, and balance of boysenberries, fruity/acidic yeast, citrus/fruity/tropical hops, lactose, vanilla, and pale/wheat malt flavors; with a fantastic malt/lactose and tart/tangy fruit balance; with no cloying, puckering, astringent flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering tart/tangy fruit, Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, creamy/silky/bready/grainy, fairly acidic/tangy/tannic, and lightly sticky mouthfeel that is fantastic. Zero warming alcohol for 6.5%. Overall this is an amazing fruited sour milkshake IPA! All around amazing complexity, robustness, and balance of boysenberries, fruity/acidic yeast, citrus/fruity/tropical hops, lactose, vanilla, and pale/wheat malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the mellowly acidic/tangy/tannic/drying finish. Fantastic soft feel, and not overly lactic/tannic. Great Citra/Mosaic hop profile. Perfectly balanced juicy/jammy berries/hops and lacto; with vanilla, lactose, malts. A touch of dankness. Light residual sweetness with lingering dryness. A highly enjoyable offering, and amazing top tier style example as expected.
