Poured from a can dated 4/23/21

Cloudy thick yellow appearance, big fluffy white head , soapy lacing and thin veil

muted aroma of mango and papaya and some hops and a hint of vanilla bean

taste is interesting in that one flavor doesn't stand out over another. a mishmash of citrus and stone fruits

mouthfeel is neutral. chewy and smooth finishes a bit astringent and sticky low carbonation

Overall its not bad the 9% abv is well hidden and it drinks like a tropical smoothie.

Very smooth beer, thick mouthfeel. Pours a hazy straw yellow. Smell of tropical fruit and hops. Taste follows suit with plenty of papaya and mango mingling well. Very well blended. Good beer.

Absolutely opaque sunny yellow, with 1.5 finger soapy white head. Nose is equal parts savory, sweet, bitter- not hugely juicy nor acidic, but promising a well-rounded hop bouquet. Hop flavor is solidly overripe citrus mango papaya, bit of an onion, garlic thing. Feel is creamy, pillowy, evaporates sticky- brewed with white wheat malt from Alvarado Street, gets malt flavor reminding of vanilla bean filled Japanese pull-apart buns from White Wolf. Drinks lighter than 9%. Finishes without much bite, though there is a green identifiably-Nelson profile, hop saturation doesn't slap you- really more malt character than expected, but super unique and easy drinking. Is it the best HOMES DIPA? No, but it's better than DIPAs from just about anyone other than WaxWings in Michigan.
