Don't let them fool you, this is not a beer. What this is, is a candy bar blended down into liquid form and with alcohol added. The sweet tooth hits a crescendo with Homes welcome wagon into Camp Plastered.
Dark, thick and rich upon the pour, Permanent Homes radiates an intense aroma of fresh baked brownies, coconut candy, vanilla cream and hints of bourbon directly onto the nose. As it's pastry sweetness slathers the tastebuds, a sultry taste of chocolate, caramel, vanilla, espresso and coconut bridge the gap from candy to bourbon while a coat of rich malt sticks to the mouth. Finishing malty-sweet and easily replacing dessert, Homes is happy to bring us this diabetic shock in a glass each year.
A slim tannic barrel quality is all that holds this pastry stout back.
