Appearance - Pours a rusty copper with three fingers of foamy white head.
Smell - leafy, earthy, and floral hops, bready malts, caramel, earthy yeast.
Taste - Mild leafy, earthy, and floral hops start the brew off. The bready malts, caramel, and earthy yeast help to finish the brew off.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Finishes sticky with the malts lingering.
Overall - A brew that needs more gusto from the hops. Otherwise, a decent brew.

473ml can - right, 'seas between us' does make a whole hell of lot more sense to we English speakers than 'auld lang syne' ever did.
This beer pours a clear, medium copper amber colour, with four fingers of puffy, loosely foamy, and bubbly ecru head, which leaves a bit of awkward and broken webbed lace around the glass as it lazily dissipates.
It smells of bready and doughy caramel malt, some indistinct dark orchard fruitiness, a touch of spicy yeast, ephemeral smoky notes, and some plain earthy, weedy, and musky floral green hop bitters. The taste is grainy and bready caramel malt, a lesser biscuity toffee square thing, buttery Ritz crackers, still hard to differentiate black stone fruit, subtle char, and more understated leafy, weedy, and lightly perfumed floral verdant hoppiness.
The carbonation is fairly meek in its workaday frothiness, the body a solid middleweight, and sort of smooth, as that buttery character gets all kind of weird at this particular juncture. It finishes off-dry, the mixed malt and dairy condiment effect holding down the fort.
Overall - this one is definitely more red/amber ale than IPA, with the malt dealing with a bit of a diacetyl invasion, which isn't fatal, but doesn't help the otherwise wan impression I'm getting here. Not the brew that I would bring on the occasion of meeting an old friend/family member whom I haven't seen in a long time, to complete the metaphor.

Poured from a 650ml bottle.
A: Pours a clear Red Amber with a very thin off white head with some minor lacing.
S: Has a sweet fruity nose with some spice and wet hops.
T: More of a floral hit at first somewhat sweet and mild on the hops.
F: A bit thick and oily but good balance.
O: Ok Red IPA needs work a little on the sweet side. No idea what hops and malts are in it there is nothing on the label and this one was not on there web site for info.
