16 oz can - single from Keg n Cork in Edmonton.
Pours a clear dark brown verging to black with 2 fingers of creamy brown head.
Aroma is faintly chocolate malt, there is a distinct aroma of the chili spice, as warmed hints of dark fruit.
Taste is sweet with definite effect of the lactose, milk chocolate, vanilla, but slowly the chili pepper heat kicks in and builds - and sits - not burning but persistently warming from the lips to the mid esophagus.
Well carbonated medium full mouthfeel accentuated by the wonderful heat that lingers and lingers.
Wonderful beer with the caveat that you have to love the pepper heat.
