Tupelo Honey pours brown with a small head. Its aroma has notes of honey. The flavor has a little smoke, dirt, graininess, and a noticeable sweet honey taste. Good feel. Overall, it is an earthy brown ale with some flavor on top.

Look: dark amber, small head, little lacing. Aroma: caramel, brown sugar, honey-ed sugar cereal, some light roasted malt. Taste: lot of honey flavored sugar cereal with a sharp, off putting astringency. Some bitterness in the end too. Finish: lingering astringency and bitterness. Mouthfeel: medium bodied, lowerish carbonation. Comments: there is so much honey in this beer that it is hard to drink. Why so much Bald Man?

Pours a beautiful clear dark reddish brown with a small tan head that leaves minimal lacing. The aroma is lightly roasted malts and just a hint of chocolate. The flavor is malty with just a touch of sweetness, no real hop bite. The feel is a bit thin but overall this is an okay offering from a local brewery.

Pours a cola brown colored...minimal head...aroma is of dusted cocoa and milk chocolate shavings, and musty leather...

Nothing off on the flavor....cocoa...a little mustiness......

A touch thin in body....higher ABV for the style but doesn't feel or taste that way

Overall a decent enough but not exceptional brown ale. I could see tipping a few of these back but at 6.5% it's really not a sessionable brown ale.
