No noticeable aroma at all, maybe the least I've ever encountered. I don't understand rating the "look", seems immaterial unless it's offensive, like the Treehouse stouts which remind me of what comes out of my crankcase when I've been lazy and gone 3 or 4 thousand miles longer than I should have before an oil change. But then again the taste and overall experience of those is great, so who cares?

This taste and feel of this is far lighter than its 7.0%, like a 5% or so., what taste there is. But after a while the fact that it was unobtrusive and not forward in any dimension grew on me. I'd have it again, but wouldn't go out of m way for it.

(just for reference a 3.25 overall rating isn't knock in my scheme of things, it's a bit of a recommendation, 2.0 or lower is a knock, e.g. Heineken)

Clear copper color with a 3F head in a Spiegelau IPA glass.

Resinous pine aroma.

Resinous, sticky MF. I like this in an IPA.

Apple, pine , a bit of stone fruit.

Hoppy sharp finish as the beer warms up.

This is my second beer from Loma Linda. I really like their approach. Not over the top, flavorful without an extreme approach,.

Picked-up a four-pack of cans at Kappy's in Norwell for about fourteen dollars. Have never tried a brew from this brewery, which is new to MA. Was curious to see if Yuke could brew as well as he hit. Not so much with is this one. Not bad, just very bland. Hopefully the DIPA has a bit more flair.
