Saturated hop vibrations!
Brewed with wheat and Vienna malt, and hopped with Simcoe and Nelson Sauvin hops, Drip Down is made in the same obsessively aromatic style as all of our hop-forward ales. Pale gold color, with a super-silky palate, soft bitterness, and massive aromatic indications of deep pine resin, citrus-peach juice , gooseberry, and tart kiwi!
Let it soak your feet.

Can from jcwattsrugger, thanks for the trade.
Hazy light gold color with a thin white head that persists.
Big orange-y citrus with hints of grassy and pith. Light sweet bready maltiness.

On draft at the Tap Room. Great look and smell. Nice balance of juicy and piney. My 2nd Brotherton beer...both great. I'm a believer!!

Look it pours a cloudy bright light orange, looks like Sunny Delight with a 1 finger light white head that fades quickly, when poured from a growler. When poured from the tap there is almost no head.
Aroma is like the old Citrus drink Five Alive. It smells like a straight up juice drink
Tastes just like Treehouse's Julius, but I actually like this more! Little more bitter bite than Julius, not much but better than Julius. You get citrus flavors upfront and a crisp clean hoppy bite towards the end. Finished clean with a loverly taste that lingers on the palate. If you told me this was non-alcoholic I would believe it. You get zero booziness.
Mouthfeel is light and crisp and the only thing this beer is lacking is more of a head that lasts. Slightly more carbonation would be preferable.
Overall this is NJ's best NE IPA Citrus bomb! The fact that there was no actual fruit juice added and its flavor is solely from the hops is a true testament that if you have the right hops, then you don't need juice. This is NJ's version of Julius and all I had to do was drive around the corner to Cowan's Public to get it! Just stinks that its such a small batch and so limited.

Poured from a growler filled earlier today
A: pours a hazy golden yellow. Thicknwhite foam that leaves lacing all around the glass
S: Lemon up front. Some pine and some sweetness
T: Citrusy with lemon candy up front. Pine resiny and bitterness. The finish adds some sweetness
MF: Smooth drinking the bitterness is followed up by a juicy sweetness.
O: A tremendous beer. A semi NE style IPA
Brotherton is definitely a brewery to watch in NJ
