This is a nice unfiltered amber lager. The appearance is cloudy and the head is fairly small especially considering the size of the stein they serve it in at the Hofbrauhaus. The smell was of carmaelized malt and slight hops. The taste was similar and had a fairly complex grain taste with a little bit of a yeast and that distinctly hofbrauhaus hops in the background. The carbonation was nice and it was quite drinkable. I found it a nice drink on a Summer afternoon.
