This is a bolder version of our Hofbrau Lager. Golden, crisp and clean, with just a bit more body, hops and alcohol.

A very nice beer, billed as a robust version of Hofbrauhaus's Hofbrau Lager. This specialty version has a deep golden color and pours with a lovely thick head that disperses rather quickly, but leaves a perfect lacing down the side of the stein (mine was a full liter). Nice aroma, and a very rich palate of roasted malt accompanying a full thick mouthfeel and moderate carbonation. The finish is moderately hoppy, with a nice bitter aftertaste. A very nice beer that kept me happy through the entire liter.
