Copenhagen 1/4 2021. 33 cl bottle from Beerdealer web-shop. What looks like a information map over a recreational park - and a bird (maybe a Red Robin) - on the label.
Pours almost clear amber with a big off-white head. A bit bubbly. Settles as a thin but consistent layer of foam just managing to cover the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet, malty, lightly roasted odor. Caramel, toffee, toasted malts, hints of brown sugar. Light notes of citrus and lemon peeking in.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a strong sweetness followed by a medium strong, citric bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet with a bitter undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is quite dry.
Sweetish but not without balance between the toasted sweetness and the citric bitterness.

Served in a tumbler.
Wild brownish coloured head. Vanished while lively bubbling. No lacing.
Coulour is a semi-hazy warm red-brown.
Scent is all malts and a bit of hops. Malts are slightly roasted, hearbal and nutty. with hints of caramel mango and pine.
The beer is a bit too carbonised. Flavour gives more mango, caramel malts, pine and nuts. With a vinous side as well.
Aftertaste is the same, just sligtly more bitter.
OK beer, but nothing more.

Amber colour and a big steady head. The smell is mostly aroma hop, with flavours like grapefruit and pine resin. There is also some nut and caramel. The taste has the same flavours, but there is also a big flaw here: there is too much carbonation, which makes the taste quite weak. It also makes the mouth feel too stingy for my liking. Less carbonation would have made this beer so much better, alas.

Slightly hazy amber color with off-white head. Aroma has slightly toasted malt and a light buttery note but I think it fits for the style. Taste follows, slightly buttery, a bit nutty, earthy hops on the finish, just slightly bitter. A very balanced amber ale.

33cl bottle. Clear amber pour with a very tall off-white head with excellent retention. Smells dank and resinous, with notes of grapefruit, pine resin, orange zest, light passion fruit, unripe mango and caramel. The taste follows the same notes, well balanced between sweet and bitter, with a smooth oily texture, a medium to low amount of carbonation and a sticky bitter-sweet finish.

Almost the quintessential American Amber Ale. The crackery nutty malt character is strong enough to balance this hop centric beer. Hops are preceived mainly as piney in aroma and grapefruity in the taste. Body is smooth and refreshing. All of the characteristics but in particular the low ABV make this a nice everyday beer.
