Copenhagen 20/6 2021. 33 cl bottle from Beerdealer web-shop. A common sparrow in front of a hilly landscape.
Pours clear dark brown with a red hue. Mid-sized off-white head. A bit bubbly. Settles as thin patchy layer of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet malty odor with a sugary streak mingling with nutty and sourish notes. Brown sugar, caramel and toffee. Hazelnut. Light grainy sourness.
Light carbonation. Thin, oily, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a stronger, quite sharp bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. Lingers for a while. Finish is dry with a roasted streak.
Surprisingly bitter but with a firm malty backbone.

Amber brown colour with a nice fluffy head, that eventually sinks in during the session. Full smell of coffee, malt, hops and earth. Taste is als full of coffee flavour, with hints of chocolate, citric hops, malt and caramel. It is mildly sweet in the mouth, but the finish is dry bitter (in a pleasant way) with lots of ground coffee. It drinks smoothly, but could have been a bit more full-bodied. A very nice beer nevertheless though.

33cl bottle. Clear caramel-brown pour with a tall tan head with good retention. Notes of chocolate, cocoa, roasted coffee beans, dried fruit (figs and dates mostly), bitter hops, roasted malts, toffee. Medium body and carbonation and a bitter-sweet finish.

Hazy light amber color with off-white head. Aroma has really nice fresh grounded or green coffee beans. Taste follows with the green coffee, slightly roasted malt, light coffee bitterness on the finish. Medium body, quite smooth feel. A really well made, coffee forward brown ale.
