A 330ml can with a BB of March 2018. Purchased recently from ASDA. Described as a session IPA brewed with 6 malts and 5 varieties of new world hops.
A: Poured into an IPA glass. A rich, hazy amber hue with intense carbonation and fine floating sediment. Produces a vast head of creamy white foam that lasts for a few minutes before subsiding to a thick surface layer. Some lacing.
S: Aroma of fruity hops with hints of strawberries, subtle tropical fruit, mild citrus, berries, grass/hay, earthy yeast, light caramel malt and touch of grain. Nicely balanced, though the hops aren't as intense as they could be.
T: Tastes of aroma hops with notes of berries, mild tropical fruit, subtle citrus, grass/hay, caramel malt, light grain and earthy yeast. Balanced and quite dry, with a restrained hoppy bitterness upon swallowing.
M: Mouthfeel is smooth, tingly and dry, with lively carbonation and good body for the strength. Aftertaste of aromatic hops, berries, light bitterness, earthy yeast and grainy malt.
O: A decent session IPA - what it lacks in hop aroma it makes up for with drinkability and balance. Looks great, while the aroma and flavour are a mix of yeast, malt and restrained aromatic hops. Nice body. Goes down a treat - worth sampling.
