Trent 13/7 2025. 44 cl can from Meny, Vermlandsgade, Kbh. K. Off-white can in Brew Yotk’s usual style with strange burgundy creatures moving about.
Pours opaque dark brown with a mid-sized light beige head. Stable. Settles as a thin, almost transparent layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet odor of dark malts and lactose mingling with both ripe and tart cherries. Caramel, toffee and sugar. Marzipan. Tart berries.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, slightly viscous, almost flat texture.
Flavor is rather intense with a strong sweetness followed by a more moderate, tart sourness. Aftertaste is sweet with a tart and sour undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is sour Milk and cherries.
Cherry stout with a touch of spoiled Milk.
