It felt so wrong, it felt so right. I drank a sour and I liked it! Katy Berry brings together juicy and tart blueberries with lashings of milk sugar and vanilla in a luscious pastry sour.

L: Dark red with a short-lived, bright pink head.
S: Sweet blueberry pie.
T: Blueberry & vanilla ice cream.
F: Tart and mildly acidic. Smooth finish.
O: This is a style that I struggle to get my head around. It’s a dessert in a glass which, I guess, has its place. All that said, this example of liquid blueberry pie (with 4.5% alcohol) is very nicely crafted.
Feels like the sour version of ‘Muffin Else Matters’. Much better as a sour than as a stout.
