Pours opaque dark brown with a small off-white head. Settles as thin, patchy layer of foam unable of covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a dark, sweet and roasted base mingling with bitter coffee. Earthy notes. Toffee and caramel. Dark roasted malts. Bitter rich coffee. Humid compost.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, slightly viscous, soft, smooth, creamy, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet with a bitter and alcohol infused undertone. Lingering. Finish is sweet with a searing boozy burn.
Potent, rich and sweet without being cloying.
