Copenhagen 29/11 2024. 44 cl can from Meny, Vermlandsgade, Kbh. S. Festive can with Reindeers, snow and green meadows A Snowman to top it off.
Pours opaque, dark brown with a mid-sized off-white head. Stable, Settles as a thin and patchy layer of foam stretching to cover the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a dark sweet odor of dark malts with a fruity touch. Dark toasted malt, lactose, milk chocolate, sweet biscuits and cherries.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed and balanced by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is surprisingly bitter. Lingers for a bit. Finish is rather dry.
A quite dry Milk Stout with light touch of Christmas.
