Copenhagen 20/12 2025. 44 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Can in Brew York's usual design with black silhouettes of horses on a grey and white background.
Pours opaque dark brown with mid-sized off-white head. Stable. Settles as a 1 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet and lightly roasted odor mingling with a metallic scent. Dark, toasted malts, brown sugar and toffee. Metallic alcohol and a hint of sour grains.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft yet lively and tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a light sweetness followed by a medium strong sourish bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a tart streak. Lingers for a while. Finish is dry.
A bit metallic but nice and dry.

taster at Brew York bar at GBBF Winter. Black pour with a flimy tan head. Roasty aroma, bitter. Taste tones down the bitterness for notes of burnt toast and chocolate. Smooth feel.
