Nightmare of Brew York 2024 takes inspiration from the beloved festive treat of Stroopwafel. This year our festive stout is a super rich milk stout with flavours of caramel and a subtle cinnamon spicing. Additional lactose adds a rich creamy body to our annual Christmas stout. Be sure to check out this year's other seasonal brews; Fairytale of Brew York and Dreams of Brew York.

Copenhagen 4/12 2024. 44 cl can from Meny, Vermlandsgade, Kbh. S. A Snowman and a hooded figure reminding me of the grim reaper on the can.
Pours opaque sark brown with a mid-sized off-white head. Stable- Settles s a 0,3 cm thick, frothy layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is intense with a sweet, malty and sugary odor mingling with sweet spice. Notes of dark, sweet alcohol. Dark malts, a perfumed sweetness, dark vermouth, cinnamon, vanilla and blackberry jam.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, viscous, soft, almost flat texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a burnt sweet undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is dry with a sweet touch.
A very sweet Nightmare.
