Coney means ‘rabbit’, but this beer is also a nod to Coney Street - a street in York city centre, first recorded around 1150 as ‘Cuningstrete’ - the King’s Street. Today it’s one of the city’s most iconic and vibrant areas to visit.
This Coney is our classic Hazy Session IPA, generously hopped with citra, mosaic and simcoe which brings strong fruit flavours of citrus, mango and stone fruits.

Copenhagen 22/9 2024. 44 cl can from Meny, Vermlandsgade, Kbh. S. Green can in York's usual cartoonish style with hares fooling around.
Pours opaque unclear golden orange with a smal white head. A bit bubbly. Settles as thin remnants of foam floating about. No lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a light sweet odor of Stone fruits mingling with a zesty scent citrus fruit. Sweet peach. Grapefruit and citrus. A bit sharp.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a stronger citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a light sweet undertone. Ligers for a while. Finish is dry.
Nice and fruity.
