Served in straight pint glass. Poured a Clean, clear pale yellow color with just a thin cap of white head, and had very light lacing. The aroma had a light earthy grain scent, and a little bit of a "funk" from the unique yeast used.
The taste profile was pretty similar, but with a more noticeable bite from the Koji. There was a very sharp tang on the finish. The body was good, light with a smoothness that balanced the tartness. Drinkability was good, a couple went down easily on a warm afternoon. Overall, a nice little beer, with a unique twist. Certainly worth a shot if you see it.
