A collab between Gruff and Boundary Bay (just across Maple St. from each other) resulted in this "Summer" ale. Served in knock-off Perfect pint glass. Poured a moderately hazy straw yellow with 1/4 inch of white head that low retention and no lacing.
The aroma had very light grain, and fruit and citrus hops.
Pretty similar on the tongue, with the addition of a slight hop bite on the back end.
The body was light and smooth,and had a semi-sry finish that dried out more as it lingered.
Drinkability was good, I could easily knock back a couple in either breweries beer garden.
Overall, a nicely pleasant brew for the remaining month of summer. Worth trying if you see it.
