Pours an unfiltered copper color and has a minimal, sudsy off white head that evaporates as quickly as you pour it. It actually looks pretty nice in the glass after it settles.
The nose is fairly sweet, with a good bit of caramel and some floral hops. The floral hops are more pronounced on the taste, providing a nice balance to the HUGE caramalt flavor.
The mouthfeel is rich and chewy, fitting the gravitas of the beer. It drinks surprisingly smooth and not nearly as boozy as expected, though there is a substantial warming on the finish.

16.9oz bottle poured into 14oz teku. Poured a clean, clear coppery-amber color with 1/4 inch of just off-white head that had low retention and lacing.
A bit of honey-ish sweetness at the front of the nose, followed some floral hops, with a bit of citrus at the back.
The flavors were similar, with the sweetness being dominant.
The body was fairly smooth, some alcohol bite at the back (to be expected, really), and had a sweet finish.
Drinkability was nice, for a beer this size, but I can't see having more than one bottle at a time.
Overall, fairly nice for such a big beer. I'm going to get a couple more bottles, and let them sit a bit.
Worth trying if you see it.
