Served in 16oz can glass. Poured a clean, clear chestnut-mahogany color with 1/4 inch of tan head that had low-moderate retention and light lacing.
The aroma had a light spice scent, from the yeast I think, malts that had a nice touch of graininess, and a low hint of hops.
Fairly similar on the tongue, with all the aspects being a bit bolder.
The body was a touch lighter than is typical for the style, smooth, and had a medium finish.
Drinkability was good, an easy brew to quaff for sure.
Overall, a pretty nice take on the style. Worth trying if you see it.
