Melipona is a refreshing Mexican lager named after Melipona beecheii, a stingless honeybee from southern Mexico. The beer is built on a base of pale North American barley malt supplemented by a bountiful portion of flaked corn. We then garnish it with Vista and Loral hops, both PNW varieties bred to lend their floral and citrus notes to light lagers.
