Tiny little spot. 16 beers on tap, all German style. You won’t find an IPA here. But Helles, Altbiers, Lagers are plentiful. And pretty well crafted.
There’s 4-5 tables made of cool tree cross sections. 5 seats at the bar, and like 6-7 sitting along the sidewalk.
They make pretzels to order.
Location isn’t great. Area is run down, and some pretty questionable characters walking on the streets.

Nice little place. Even better if the weather is nice as it can be open.
6 seats at the bar. Another dozen facing the street & 6 along the wall. Approx. a half dozen small tables,
+/- 14 German style beers on tap. Some other drink options too. Good music playing. No food [chips].
Nice atmosphere. Comfortable.
The bartender [Matt] was moderately friendly. Seems like a nice guy but was preoccupied with video games and chatting with a friend. But, did have an excellent recommendation for beer [Wells Helles...try it!].
The place also has a wall of board games, which is cool.
Overall, seemed like a local place that people would hang out. Very nice. Definitely worth a visit and try some well made beers.

I visited Four Generals the other day while out and about in Renton. When I visited, they had 11 beers on tap, including 5 lagers and a Kölsch as well as 3 IPAs and a couple other styles. I really liked their focus on lagers and on German styles in general; relatively few places are doing that. Overall I thought the quality of the beers I tried was quite good.
The space itself has a cool neighborhood taproom feel with a short bar and some outdoor seating as well; they've got board games and a TV on the wall. Service up at the bar is super nice. I definitely see myself returning to Four Generals.

Occupying a store front on the commercial streets of Renton sits Four Generals Brewing. Interior space is pretty limited, with a little spill over onto the sidewalk. Sidewalk patio offers raised level seating. Seating overall is pretty compact, with tables pretty narrowly space apart, and small live-edge raised bars lining the open walls on either side of the room as a place for standing room or raised-level seating. It could feel a little claustrophobic to someone used to the space typically associated with the Midwest, but is otherwise a fun, eccentric interior. Only reason for the knock down in score is the spacing, something that is at a premium in the Seattle area. A tentative bartender takes orders, and offers up suggestions when asked. Selection is good, hitting a number of lagers during my visit, while still offering up the more trendy IPA options.

cute place, very small talked to the owner who was a bit smug and full of his accomplishments, being a judge and brewer of nearly 30 years I offered him suggestions on his offerings because they were HOT and had many issues, he didn't need to hear it which is why there are problems... Can't recommend
