Funky repurposed workshop space a short walk from Lone Pine. All kinds of spaces within and a small patio. Very interesting taplist of beer (a lot of gruits), cider, mead and kombucha. Flights available. Good service, beer mediocre at best.

In an industrial building in the East Bayside area, with outdoor seating outside the building. They were supposed to have a mix of Kombucha, Gruit, Cider, Mead, etc. But when we were there, they didn't have any beer. the other beverages we tried were okay. the inside space was kinda weird, you ordered at a little window. Not sure if that was just because of COVID or not.

Interesting rehabbed industrial building across the street from Lone Pine. Sprawling, looks like a great place for a rave, all dark and steam punky. Also has an outdoor patio in the front. Only 2 beers on tap (there were also some ciders). Friendly servers. I had the Dandelion saison which tasted more like a gruit and was very nice. Definitely worth checking out.

One of the most unique places you will ever visit. I hope it doesn’t lose it funkiness as it gets popular. The “brews” are off the charts. Hard to describe. Gruits, ciders, jun, kombucha, mead, apple cider vinegars with incredible flavor combos. Go prepared to experiment. Like Quato from Total Recall says, “open your mind” and prepared to have it blown away.

With almost 300 unique brewery visits under my belt, there aren't that many places that surprise me anymore. But this place not only did that, but I'd say it's one of the top five most unique breweries I've been to. It's away from the center of town, so not really in a hot spot, but pretty close to Lone Pine, Rising Tide, and Oxbow breweries. So first the space itself is pretty interesting. There's the main bar area, some outside space, and a neat little whimsical bar called the "Apothecary" in the back, as well as I think a music space. Now actually the beer here was pretty average, I thought. What really makes the place unique is all the other stuff they make. Mead. Cider. Kombucha. Jun. Vinegar. Even if the beer was fairly standard stuff, I actually liked all the other beverges even more. And everything on the list is available in sample flights...including the vinegar...which apparently is a thing...people drink straight vinegar. 0_o Did I try it? After lots of musing and contemplation, yes, I sampled the ghost pepper garlic turmeric vinegar. Very interesting stuff across the board. And they have their own greenhouse, so many of their various drinks are made with ingredients that they grow and/or forage themselves. So if you're into the whole organic / local thing, this place is heaven for you. And if you're not, then, well, this is still a place for you, with a little something for everyone. Check them out.
