Lager’s answer to IPA! This India Pale Lager has a biscuity base of Pils and Vienna malt with a touch of light crystal malt, then dry-hopped - peachy and piney, this is modern lager at its best!

Pours a slightly foggy gold, with a loose white head that settles to a patchy cover. Clean grapefruit on the nose - some of that on the tongue, but mostly a mildly citrussy lagery acidity. A full-bodied 5.2%, sticky and long-lasting with a sweet finish.

440ml can.
L: Light haze, dark gold with a few streams of bubbles rising to a bright white cap.
S: Spicy noble hops.
T: Floral and grassy and very dry.
F: Medium body with a bitter finish. Just a tiny bit watery. Would prefer higher carbonation.
O: Heavily hopped lager with a solid malt base. Loads of flavour but quickly becomes austere. Not refreshing.

330 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 5.2%. Deep golden colour, large white head. Pleasant aroma of floral and fruity hops. Lagerish mouthfeel. The flavour has a slight sweetness, followed by distinct bittering hops. A decent "India Pale Lager".

On tap. Yellow colour. Clear.
Hoppy aroma. Tropical and citrus fruits,
Grassy hops with a dash of pine resin.
medium body. Lively carbonation.
Unlike most other lagers but I'm not too sure it is Vienna.

Keg at The Volunteer Tavern, Bristol - Pours golden with a medium foamy head. Medium carbonation. Nice lacing. Aroma - floral hops, resin notes. Taste - citrus notes, some resin with fresh malty back notes, crisp light bitter finish. Given as a special lager but touches all the right notes as a wonderful APA.
