Pours a fairly clear light amber with fine, soft head.
Smell is grainy and bready with some florar hints and notes of citrus and earthiness.
Taste is earthy and herbal with some bready and floral notes. Hints of knäckebröd and a moderate bitterness. Tastes cleaner than it smells.
Mouthfeel is thin to medium, well carbonated.
Overall, a good Helles, nothing special though.

L- Stored for 2 days before pouring to settle. Pours pale straw, very slightly hazy, with lower carbonation. Within a minute of pouring it's a thin ring of white foam, with a small patch in the middle.
S- I get very little smell from this, just some mild grains.
T- Bright, without being over-hopped. That said on subsequent mouth-full's it fast distinctly lacks any character.
F- Surprisingly light for 5.1%, it seriously lacks body or presence. If I was told, blind-tasted, this is say 3.2-3.5% I'd likely believe it. It might be quite refreshing on a very hot day.
O- Highly disappointing. There'd be no reason for me to buy this again, even if it were inexpensive. I'd hoped for something more memorable for my 550th review.
£5.00/440ml can, after 20% discount for take-outs, from House of Cans [added to Directory listings] behind King's Cross in London. BB: 25/03/2020.
